We
are pleased to announce the addition of Anthony A. Lombardo
to Mancino Burfield Edgerton. Tony joins the firm with an extensive
background in both public and private companies at the CEO level
as well as Divisional Leadership experience across a broad spectrum
of the healthcare marketplace. Most recently Tony was Chief
Operating Officer of Bracco Diagnostic's, a leader in contrast
imaging agents as well as devices for the radiology-imaging
sector. Previously he was CEO of EZEM, a public company, which
he turned around and sold at a 38% market premium to Bracco
Diagnostics.
Earlier,
Tony was President of ALI Imaging Systems which he helped to
build and eventually was sold to McKesson for $340MM. Prior
to that Tony held senior level positions for GE Medical Systems
and Philips Medical Systems as well as the head of the medical
systems businesses for Sony and Loral/Lockheed Martin.
He
has an extensive background in medical devices, IT systems for
image management and display as well as pharmaceutical agents.
His experience as the CEO of publically traded company spans
the spectrum of investor relations, BOD relationships and M&A
activities all focused on the goal to increase shareholder value.
Because
Tony has successfully built high performance teams in the above
roles, he has a unique insight into the key elements required
for success in the search process.
Tony
also brings perspective of the rapidly changing healthcare delivery
system in his role as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Morristown
Medical Center, which is part of the Atlantic Health Care System.
In
addition to offering insightful, consultative Executive Search
services, Tony's addition to the team will enable Mancino Burfield
Edgerton to provide support to organizations at both the board
and operational level. This would include transition management,
succession planning, and interim management in situations where
a transition CEO is required.
